FiveM Drug Script Buyer's Guide (2026)

The short answer
A drug script is the pressure valve for a crime economy: if supply, yield, or price can be influenced by the client, the dirty money it generates floods every other system a player can spend it in. The buying test is server authority over the whole chain — cultivation, processing, sale, and price — plus whether a bust actually produces evidence rather than a despawned item. Heatline (vf_drugs) is a real, built product at a planned $34.99, with performance still [MEASURED-PENDING].
The drug loop is the economy's pressure valve
Crime RP's dirty money starts somewhere, and on most servers that somewhere is drugs. Every downstream system — gangs funding turf wars, businesses laundering proceeds, police working overtime for the arrests it generates — feels the pressure of however that tap is calibrated. A drug economy that pays too freely does not stay contained to the players running it; it floods every market on the server with currency nothing backs.
That is why 'balance' in this category is not a tuning nicety, it is the whole engineering problem. A drug script is not judged on how satisfying the cook minigame feels. It is judged on whether the money it creates has a cost attached that scales with the reward.
Where the loop breaks
Yield and price are the two numbers a modified client most wants to control. If a harvest's quantity or a sale's price is computed client-side and merely reported, a modified client can report a bigger harvest or a stale, favorable cached price. Any client can fire any registered server event with any payload — the mechanics are in /guides/fivem-server-security-net-events, and a drug economy is one of the highest-value targets for exactly this exploit.
The subtler failure is a missing sink. Money that enters the economy through sales but is never removed by risk, loss, or cost is inflation on a growing season. Ask what actually takes money or product away from a player running the loop — busts, spoilage, ingredient cost, heat consequences — and whether any of it is guaranteed rather than optional.
Law enforcement interaction and evidence linkage
A bust needs to leave something behind. Seized product should carry a quantity and identity the server attests to, ideally referenced by an evidence system rather than simply despawning into nothing the moment it is picked up by an officer. Heat and risk should scale with output, so a large operation carries a real chance of real consequences rather than a flat, ignorable tax.
This is a different concern from chain-of-custody itself, which is its own buying decision — see /guides/fivem-evidence-script-buyers-guide for how to evaluate the evidence side of that handoff. What matters here is narrower: does the drug script produce anything an evidence system could even attach to, or does a bust just delete the problem?
What drug scripts cost
Our July 2026 survey found one useful paired data point rather than a category median: rcore's Drugs Creator lists at $57.00 on the vendor's own store and $58.99 on the official Cfx.re Marketplace — about 3.5% more, consistent with a marketplace fee passed through to the buyer (2026-07-15; full method at /guides/fivem-script-prices). That is a single paired observation, worth checking on any specific product rather than treating as a rule.
More broadly, our survey's flagship band — banking, full police jobs, gangs, ambulance, housing, and drugs — clusters at roughly $40–58. Heatline's own planned price is $34.99, below that band and set against our internal ladder.
The buyer's checklist
Eight questions. The server-authority items are the ones that decide whether the economy behind the roleplay is sound.
- 1 · Yield authority — is harvest quantity computed and validated server-side, or reported by the client?
- 2 · Price authority — is sale price resolved server-side against current config, or accepted as a client's claim?
- 3 · Supply chain validation — is each processing step checked server-side, or can a stage be skipped by firing a later event directly?
- 4 · Economic sinks — what removes money or product from circulation, and is any of it guaranteed rather than optional?
- 5 · Bust output — does a seizure produce a server-attested record, or does confiscated product simply despawn?
- 6 · Heat scaling — does risk increase with output, or is the risk flat regardless of scale?
- 7 · Performance, measured — resmon idle and active with artifact, framework, and date; method at /guides/fivem-resmon-script-performance.
- 8 · Escrow split, dated changelog, and a written SLA in hours — full standard at /guides/how-to-vet-fivem-script-sellers.
What to verify before you pay
If a trial exists, attempt to claim a yield or a sale price that should be impossible given the server's actual state, and confirm it is rejected. Then put a processing cycle seconds from completing, hard-kill the server, and check what state the operation resumes in — lost product is annoying, duplicated product is a currency exploit.
Where Heatline sits
Heatline (vf_drugs) is a real, built product with a page at /products/vf_drugs — status is built, proof-pending, and it is not yet cleared to sell. What it claims: a crime economy tuned to create heat and tension rather than runaway cash, with config-driven supply, live pricing, and anti-inflation sinks built in from the start.
What has not been published: resmon idle and active values both read [MEASURED-PENDING], and there is no dated economic-balance measurement on the page yet. Run the server-authority tests in this guide against our product exactly as you would against anyone else's.
Questions, answered directly
How does an unbalanced FiveM drug script affect the whole server economy?
Drug money is usually the origin point for a crime economy, and it does not stay contained — it flows into gangs, businesses, and everything players buy with it. If the drug loop pays out more than it costs, that excess currency debases prices everywhere else on the server, not just in the drug trade itself.
Can a modified client fake a bigger drug harvest?
If yield is computed client-side and merely reported, yes. Harvest quantity, processing steps, and sale price all need to be validated server-side against the server's own state — any client can otherwise fire a registered event with a favorable payload and be believed.
How much does a FiveM drug script cost?
Our July 2026 survey found one relevant paired figure: rcore's Drugs Creator at $57.00 on its own store versus $58.99 on the Cfx.re Marketplace, a single observation rather than a rate. Drug systems generally sit in our survey's $40–58 flagship band. Heatline's own planned price is $34.99.
Should a drug bust produce evidence?
Ideally yes — seized product should carry a server-attested quantity and identity that an evidence system can reference, rather than simply despawning. For how to evaluate the evidence side of that handoff specifically, see /guides/fivem-evidence-script-buyers-guide.
Is Heatline available to buy?
Not yet. It is a real, built product — status is built, proof-pending — with a page at /products/vf_drugs and a planned price of $34.99. Its resmon idle and active values read [MEASURED-PENDING] until measured under stated conditions.
What is an economic sink in a FiveM drug script?
Anything that removes money or product from circulation rather than only adding it — busts, spoilage, ingredient cost, heat consequences. Without a sink, every successful sale is pure addition to the economy, and pure addition is inflation regardless of how satisfying the roleplay loop feels.
